The short version

Audiobook Pinger has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. We don't collect your name, email, location, contacts or device identifiers.

What stays on your device

The genres, authors and narrators you follow and which alerts you've read are saved only on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them.

What our server receives

To check for new releases, the app sends the names of your follows (for example "Fantasy" or "Stephen King") to our server, which looks them up in the Apple Books catalog. These requests are not linked to you or your device and are not used to build a profile.

AI summaries and reviews

Summaries and critic-style reviews are generated by an AI model (Anthropic Claude) using only public book information such as the title, author and publisher description. None of your personal data is sent. Reviews are AI-written and may contain mistakes.

Store links and affiliate disclosure

"Where to listen" opens Apple Books, Audible, Libro.fm or AudiobooksNow. Some links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Those stores have their own privacy policies and may use cookies.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
